Christine Dozier Bridges December 23, 1955- July 13, 2007 COLUMBUS, GA- Mrs. Christine D. Bridges 51, of 339 32nd Avenue Apt. 18, Columbus died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Friday, July 20, 2007 at Rehobeth Baptist Church, Preston Road, Cataula, GA. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Fortson, GA according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc. 1604 Talbotton Road.
Visitation will be today form 1:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Bridges was born December 23, 1955 in Harris County, GA daughter of the late James L. and Amanda L. Seldon Dozier. She was a homemaker. At an early age Christine accepted Christ and joined Rehobeth Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories is her husband Lewis H. Bridges; a daughter Tracy Bridges; 2 brothers Winston L. Dozier, Sr. and Herman R. Dozier; 2 sisters, Lenoria Walton and Monica Dixson; a grandchild, Yakira A.L. Rice; several aunta, uncles, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

My prayers and condolences go out to Ms.Bridges and her family. Ms. Bridges use to ride my Lefleur van when she was on dialysis. She was a sweet person!
