Eleanor J. Jackson,  On Friday February 22, 2008, a native of Columbus, passed away at Vista Care at Franciscan Woods Hospice Center in Columbus, GA.

Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Friday, February 29, 2008 at Riverview Baptist Church with the Pastor Rev. Larry Williams officiating.  Interment will follow at Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Benning, GA, Ft. Benning, GA according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc. 1604 Talbotton Road, Columbus.  Visitation will be held from 2:00PM until 7:00PM Thursday at the funeral home.
