Margie King

margie-king02.jpg Margie King, 65, of 531 Broad Street, Cusseta, GA died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Summit Hospital, Phenix City, AL.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Bethel AME Church, Cusseta with Rev. Jerome Jones, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 until 6:00 pm followed by a wake from 6:00 until 7:00pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. King was born August 10, 1942 in Chattahoochee County, GA daughter of the late Walter and Annie Pearl Jones Neal. She was a retired Teacher’s Aide.

Mrs. King is survived by her husband, Julious King; son Lorenzo King (Melissa) of Cusseta; daughter, Claudette Daniels (Alton) of Columbus; brothers, Robert Howard of Orlando, FL; Roy Spivey (Queen E.) of Cusseta; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

    I only met Ms. King once in my life back in 1977 but, I knew her sons, Julius Jr. and Lorenzo. I was a classmate of her daughter Claudette. I wish the family only the best and we all must dig deep inside to carry on. I myself am suffering from Kidney Cancer but, the Father above knows best. Jehovah Bless Us All!
