Mr. Ronald Dukes, 56 of 813 Havenbrook Ct, Columbus, passed Thursday June 12, 2008, at the Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, June 19, 2008 in the Chapel at People’s Funeral Service with Dr. Larry Williams officiating according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc., 1604 Talbotton Road. Visitation will be today from 1:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Dukes was born August 5, 1951 in Columbus, son of the late Katie Henderson Dukes and William Dukes. He was retired.
Ronald leaves to cherish his memories a father, William Dukes; an uncle, Mr. Willie L. Henderson; 3 brothers James Reed, Charles Dukes (Darlene) and Leroy Dukes (Pamela); 5 sisters, Katherine Dowdell (Benjamin), Pinkie Robinson (James), Parilee Colbert (Grenes), Sallie Dukes and Jacqueline Dukes all of Columbus; a special niece, Derrill Brown of Wyandanch, NY; and a host of other relatives and friends. Special consideration is given to his sister Katherine Dowdell who untiringly gave her love and care throughout Ronald’s life.
