Mrs. Willie Mae Arrington, 57 of 252 Robert E. Lee Drive, Columbus, passed Thursday July 17, 2008, at St Francis Hospital.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Southside Baptist Church, 2343 Howe Avenue, Columbus according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc., 1604 Talbotton Road.
Mrs. Arrington was born November 22, 1950 daughter of Ben Copenny and Willie Mae Wiley. She was a homemaker, a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Revelation Missionary Baptist Church and Southside Baptist. She was very outspoken, a loving mother of four children, a neighborhood mother who never met a stranger.
Left to cherish her memories are her children Essence Monique, Pamler Denise, Marla Reba and Marlena Rena all of Columbus; Rev. Earnest (Martha) Sumbry and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends. Those who wish may sign the online guest book at
