I know I’m extremely late in saying this…I would like to send my deepest sympathy and respect to all family and friends who cared and loved Mel….. I met Mel when we worked as Sales Associates at Baddcock we quickly became great acquaintances. Mel, Rachel and I had a blast at work and after work. I lost contact with Mel once I moved back home and as soon as I moved back to Georgia I was blessed to see run into her at a local hotspot..We hugged, laughed and talked for which seemed like eternity. Before we parted we exchanged numbers and promised to keep in touch. But before we parted for the night Mel shared with me the battle she was fighting..I prayed for her to have peace that next morning. Ironically, I’m fighting the same battle which lead me to look her up and to my shock and sad surprise this is the result of my search for a long lost friend that I knew would understand all I’ve been through and all of going through and the road ahead. With all this being said, My final thought is Mel, Thank you! Thank you for the numerous times you let me cry on your shoulder, wiped my tears and then had me rolling with laughter within 5 minutes of each emotion. Thank you for not judging and demanding others around you to follow suit. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of what we called the Three Musketeers. Thank you for helping me to keep the faith when my road path became a rocky pavement. Heaven is blessed to have a crazy, loving angel!!!!!!!!!!!! One Love!

I am sorry i am so late saying see you later to my melaine. I was in great shock when i found out that my silly crazy friend was no longer here. I will see thru ups and downs we had some great times and you will never be forgotten. You truly touched me and showed me what a friend can be. I will missing talk to you and hang out and our dollar movie days ill always be your garfield down here. I know you knew but i love you and i miss you dearly my prayers are with your mother, father, and family and other friends. I’ll just say see you later silly girl love muffin.

I AM DEEPLY SADDEN TO HEAR ABOUT MEL WE WERE GOOD FRIENDS. WE USE TO WORK AT THE SAME PLACE TOGETHER A WHILE BACK. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOREVER TO FIND CONTACT INFORMATION ON HER, BUT TO COME ACROSS THIS I AM MORE THAN SHOCKED. TO MRS. DACOSTA MEL WAS A GOOD FRIEND EVEN THROUGH OUR UPS AND DOWNS WE HAD EACH OTHER BACKS. HER MEMORY WILL BE IN MY HEART.

I am so sorry to hear this i just found out about Melanie today. i have been searching for her for months trying to find contact info for her. My heart is broken over my best friend. Melanie I love you so much and I miss you dearly.

I met Melanie at AT&T and we got to know each other. she was funny, always entertaining, and kept a smile on our faces. we are just hearing about the loss and deeply saddened. i spoke with her a few days before she passed and she will be truly missed. may God continue to be with her family and friends we know she is in a better place now.

Melanie, my friend, my sister. You were truly a star and I wish I would have taken the opportunity to tell you how much you meant to me. You always left that unforgettable impression on everyone you met with your outgoing, fun-loving personality. If only I could hear your laugh or a crazy joke from you again. I miss you so much but I take comfort in knowing that you are with God. I send my condolences to the your parents that everyone knew you loved so much. I love you always, you will not be forgotten.
