Mr. Jentmon Thomas, 89 of 7150 Manor Road, Columbus, passed Thursday July 24, 2008, at St Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 4400 Old Cusseta Road, Columbus with the Pastor Rev James C. Harris, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL with military honors according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc. 1604 Talbotton Road. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until 6:00PM today at the funeral home.
Mr. Thomas was born September 16, 1918 son of the late Millard and Lillie Mae Thomas. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in World War II and a self employed Carpenter. Mr. Thomas was a faithful member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memories is one sister, Ida Bell Jordan, Columbus; 5 nephews; 3 nieces; a special friend, Brenda Phillips, Columbus and several other loving relatives and dear friends.
