Mr. Jerome Barker, 41 of 508 McMillian Street, Tuskegee, AL passed Monday September 8, 2008, at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 13, 2008 in the Chapel at People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, 1604 Talbotton Road, Columbus with the Minister Antonio McBride officiating. Interment will follow at Harrison Cemetery, Tuskegee, AL according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc. 1604 Talbotton Road, Columbus. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until 6:00PM Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Barker was born April 9, 1967 in Columbus son of James and Martha Lee Williams Barker. He was a 1988 graduate of G. W. Carver High School, Columbus and preceded in death by his wife Sharon Denise Sparks Barker.
Left to cherish his memory a brother Jeffery (Bertha) Barker; a sister Siberian (Arthur) Barker; 3 uncles Willie Williams, Earnest Williams and Sonny Williams; 3 aunts, Mary (James) Beach, Catherine Lewis and Juanita Henderson; several cousins and other loving relatives and dear friends.
