Mr. Timothy Fitzpatrick, 78 of 801 32nd Avenue, Columbus, GA passed Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at St Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be 2:00PM Saturday October 4, 2008 at Green Acres Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth W. Wilcox officiating according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc. 1604 Talbotton Road. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until 6:00PM today at the funeral home. The family will receive friends and processional will depart 1265 S. Dixon Street the day of the funeral.
Mr. Fitzpatrick was born September 1, 1930 in Chambers, AL, son of the late George and Katie McCowan Fitzpatrick. Timothy was a member of Holsey Chapel CME Church in Columbus, and a Volunteer with Girls Scouts of America. He was a handyman and who enjoyed cooking and was a Fiberglass Finisher.
Left to cherish his memory is a son, Ed Peabody; 4 Daughters, Patricia R. Cushingberry, Sabrina Fitzpatrick, Glenda Fitzpatrick and Elizabeth Crews; 2 sisters Stacie Ware and Annie Tanner; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews other loving relatives and dear friends.
