Mrs. Willie Ruth Hunt, 75, of 3390 N. Lumpkin Road #6103, Columbus, GA passed Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Columbus Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Monday, November 3, 2008 at Holsey Chapel CME Church, 718 8th St, Columbus with the Pastor Rev. Allen Page officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc., 1604 Talbotton Road. Visitation will be from 3:00PM until 7:00PM today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hunt was born November 6, 1932 in Marion County, GA daughter of the late Rozelle Goodwell and John Kelly. She was a homemaker and a member of Holsey Chapel CME Church. Left to cherish her memory are 2 sons, James (Linda) Hunt, Jr. of Columbus and Wendell Hunt of Chula Vista, CA; 2 daughters, Janice Hunt-Reynolds-Wright and Rosemary Hunt of Columbus; a brother, Thomas Kelly of New York; a sister, Mary Gettis of Detroit, MI; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several other loving relatives and dear friends.
