Mrs. Minnie D. Mitchell, 73, of 910 Talbotton Road, Columbus, GA passed Sunday, November 16, 2008, at Vista Care at Franciscan Woods. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Harmony Baptist Church, 310 Boyd St, Cusseta, GA with the Pastor Rev. W, E. Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc., and 1604 Talbotton Road, Columbus. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until 7:00PM today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mitchell was born December 4, 1934 in Marion County, GA daughter of the late Ella and the late Jessie Daniels. Her husband William C. Mitchell preceded her in death.
To keep her memory alive she leaves a loving and dedicated daughter Vanessa (George) Raby, Columbus; a grandson, George Raby, Jr.; a stepdaughter, Marjorie Davis, Columbus; 2 stepsisters; 3 stepbrothers; 2 two sisters in law; a brother in law; 3 devoted cousins; extended family members; a special friend, Hattie Spivey, Cusseta and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins several other loving relatives and dear friends.
