Robert L. Hatchett, 71, of 435 Claradon Avenue, Columbus, GA died Thursday January 29, 2009 at Muscogee Manor Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hwy 165, Ft. Mitchell, AL with the Pastor Rev. Sam Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc. 1604 Talbotton Road.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home
Mr. Hatchett was born April 26, 1937 in Muscogee County, GA son of the late James and Mary Biggers Hilliard Hatchett. He was at truck driver and Baptist by faith. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving an devoted wife Addie Ruth Hatchett; 5 sons, Robert(Elaine), Arthur(Lawana), Roy Anthony(Teresa) Hatchett and James and Moses Echols of Columbus, GA ; 3 daughters, Denise Taylor, Caressa(Samuel) Hicks and Elizabeth A. Echols of Columbus, GA; 6 brothers, Willie James(Gracie)Hatchett, Columbus, GA, Homer, Sammie, Douglas, Windell, George Roberts of Columbus, GA; 3 sisters Ozella H. Huling, Carrie L. Jett, Abbeville, AL and Barbara Harris, Columbus, GA; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives, co-workers and dear friends.
