Ms Tanya Lipscomb, 39, of 421 3rd Street, Cuthbert, GA, died Monday, June 29, 2009 at Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Midway Baptist Church in Cuthbert, GA with Rev. Raymond Mills officiating. Interment will follow in the Midway Baptist Church cemetery according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 am until the funeral hour.

Ms. Lipscomb was born October 5, 1969 in Lorain, OH daughter of Mary Mitchell and the late Issac Lipscomb. She was also predeceased by her grandparents, Henry and Mamie Thomas; Stepfather, Eddie L. Mitchell Sr.; brother, Stanley Mitchell and sister Deborah Lusane. Survivors include brothers, Ronnie G. Lipscomb of Florence, KY, Donnie R. Lipscomb of Denver, CO, Kirk Mitchell of Lorain, OH, Eddie Mitchell of Lorain, OH, Issac Lipscomb Jr. of Lorain, OH; sisters, Lynette C. Mitchell of Cuthbert, GA, Shannon L. Mitchell of Birmingham, GA, Cheryl Thompson of Stafford, VA, Lisa Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Phyllis Mitchell of Minneapolis, MN, Antionette Lipscomb of Lorain, OH and a host of neices, nephews other relatives and dear friends.
