I am truly sorry for the lost of Pastor Roberson and I am very sorry this is so late but unforturenatly I did not receive the news until a couple weeks ago. My heart goes out to you Mrs. Beverly, you all were so dear and precious to me, a famiy that made me feel home away from home I Loved visiting you all every trip I made back to Columbus. Even when I left you all still continue to bless me through cards in the mail and gifts for graduation and birthdays. Know my heart and prayers are with each of you. May God be with you and keep you. I miss you guys very much and I wil definitely miss seeing Pastor’s smile of surprise when I sneak into town and drop by. Love you so so much.

Words still cannot express my sincere loss and grief, yet I am persuaded that neither life nor death shall separate us from the love of God. Aunt Beverly, Joe Jr., Angela, Martin, And Joe rest assured that these hallowed words will forever reign upon us as we behold a life birthed in us and through us for such a time as this, the Celebration of Joseph Roberson’s Life in Christ! I love you all more than my words could express but God loves us more and it will be God that shall see us through time into eternity to be with Him!

What heavy hearts the Statesboro District UMW have. I was so looking forward to working with Rev. Roberson. He had shared with me at our church conference a suggestion for a speaker at next year’s District UMW annual meeting. He was looking forward to attending our Board meeting, and we were looking forward to his involvement in our planning. You and your family have been in my prayers and the prayers of many UMW across the South Georgia Conference. Our prayers will continue for your peace and comfort. May God’s love surround you all through His people.
