Nettie B. Andrews, 75, of 3116 Gleason Avenue, Columbus, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Columbus Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 3:00PM Saturday , January 23, 2010 at Franchise Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Dillingham Street, Phenix City, AL with the Pastor Dr Raymond Cochran, officiating, , Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc.1604 Talbotton Road. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00PM until 6:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Andrews was born January 23, 1934 in Lee County, AL daughter of the late Tommy and Mucie Blackmon Nelems. She was a retired Mender from Columbus Carpet Mill and widow of David L. Andrews. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her children, Melody Andrews, David Lee Andrews, Jr., Brenda Andrews, Gloria(Willie)Floyd and Joyce Andrews; a brother Charlie Nelems; a sister Claudie Oxford; an aunt, Viola; sister in law, Della Nelems; 12 grandchildren, her closest, Brianna Andrews; 27 great grandchildren, her closest Tierra Dalton; a special son in law Mody”Bug”Spencer, Jr.; a dedicated granddaughter Felicia Henderson and a host other loving relatives and dear friends.
