Thomas C. Bunkley, 52, of 1010 Fisk Avenue, Columbus, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Vistacare at Franciscan Woods. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Monday , April 26, 2010 in the Chapel at People’s Funeral Service, 1604 Talbotton Road . Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL with military honors. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00PM until 6:00PM at the funeral home according to People’s Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc. Deacon Bunkley was born November 30, 1957 in Manchester, GA son of the late Leon Bunkley, Sr. and Mrs. Edith Bunkley. He graduated from Manchester High School, enlisted in the military and earned an Associates Degree in Business. Thomas accepted Christ at an early age, connected with Parkwood Baptist Church and later joined True Vision Ministries. He worked many years at Bross Tire Company, Davenport and other moving companies. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Cynthia Bunkley; 4 stepchildren, Keith Williams, Candice Williams, Cecilia (Joe)Cooper and Kevin Williams; 2 brothers, Leon Bunkley, Jr. and Michael(Beth)Bunkley; 2 sisters Mary Frances Bray and Isabell Bunkley; 2grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
