Alzo McKay, 59, 3011 Baker Plaza Drive Apt. 104B, Columbus died Sunday May 30, 2010 at Vista Care at Franciscan Woods. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday June 4, 2010 at Antioch Baptist Church 2500 14th Avenue with the Pastor Rev. Homer Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00PM until 6:00PM at the funeral home according to Peoples Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc., and 1604 Talbotton Road.
Mr. McKay was born July 18, 1950 in Columbus, GA son of Alzo McKay and Mary Upshaw. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Peggy A. McKay, daughter, Melissa McKay, two step sons , Ben Hixon and Donald Hixon; three brothers Ball McKay, Norris McKay, and Thomas McKay; four sister Zelma Upshaw, Connie Scott, Brenda Upshaw and Pearlie Mae Reynolds; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives friends.
