Shirley Ann Luttrell was born on October 19, 1954 in Columbus, GA to the late John Luttrell and Georgia Luttrell. She was the 2nd of 8 children. One sibling proceeded her in death; Willie Mae Luttrell a sister who she loved so dearly. She attend Spencer High School in Columbus, GA. She began her career as an administrative assistant at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. After several years of services, she relocated to Atlanta, GA which very quickly became her second home. She became the primary care giver for her grandchildren. As an adult she developed a strong interest in fashion and traveling. Throughout her life she fulfilled her dream by visiting several states and stepping in high fashion. In 1971 she gave birth to the eldest of two sons and had her last child in 1975.
